A Bit About Me
Growing up in Anthem, Arizona, as a Chinese-Malaysian daughter of immigrant parents, I've always been interested in the behind-the-scenes of why things were the way they were. Things like "Santa Claus" and the "Tooth Fairy" were concepts I learned about in school, making me ultra-aware of the countless schemas we accept as normal, and led me to question what systems run our everyday lives—and why?

Now, I am an Oakland–based visual designer with a passion for creating intuitive, human-centered digital experiences. With a background in nonprofit design, volunteerism, and community engagement, I specialize in branding, web design, and visual storytelling that inspires action.

I believe good design should be functional, inclusive, and clear. When I’m not designing, you can find me sketching, running, or trying out the latest internet viral recipes.
Let’s build something impactful together!

Solo traveled internationally for the first time studying in Tokyo, Japan, and confronted different schemas and diverse perspectives. This experience encouraged me to think outside the box about inclusive cross cultural design.

Joined an anti-tobacco coalition with nonprofit API Forward Movement to advocate initiatives with the local city government.
